We start our campaign at noon Tuesday, September 17th through noon September 19th, 2024!
The Amazing Praise, an RVA metro area exclusive, praise-focused, 48-hour online giving campaign. We are one of 16 local non-profit’s working together to raise funds to support the greater Richmond community.
This event puts the FUN in fundraising, as we watch what God does for Belmont in a big way!
In 2023, we raised a record breaking $15,000! We hope you will join hands with us to meet or exceed this goal in 2024!
Why give to Belmont during the Amazing Praise?
Your donations will help us feed and clothes an additional 20,000 people this year. Each year, in September, we see the need for food and clothes soar to a new record number. Many families are stretching their budgets to buy school supplies and clothes. Others are feeling the pinch of high summer electric bills coming due in September. Your gifts will help stretch our budget and help fill those gaps!
Beyond the Belmont Food Pantry and The Closet, here are some other ways we are ministering to our neighbors:
- bringing in support agencies to help clients in areas of health, finance, and family services.
- collaborating with local businesses and non-profits to provide everything from fresh vegetables to pet food.
- responding to client requests, usually through our observant volunteers. These can be prayer requests, or materials needs like child car seats, feminine hygiene products, or diapers.
